Roasted Hazelnuts for the holidays!

We harvested hazelnuts early, ahead of the squirrels and Jays, then let them age before processing them. This Christmas they've been a special treat-roasted with light salt. Our chestnut and hazelnut trees are still young and we only had a few UPICKers try them out but we should be able to allow more this fall.
